Parent-Teacher Organization

The Early Childhood Center Parent Teacher Organization (ECC PTO) is made up of all ECC parents and faculty working together to enrich the education of our children.

Over the last several years, the ECC PTO has raised approximately $15,000 each year for school enrichment programs, overhead projectors for the classrooms, additional playground equipment, writing journals, library books, and classroom supplies.  For pictures of the playground changes click this link - Playground Improvement Pictures.

The PTO sponsors a variety of fund-raisers throughout the year.  These include: book fairs, the Haunted House, Breakfast with the Bunny, ECC PTO Dance, Secret Santa workshop, and March madness.  We also have a popcorn program that funds the buses for field trips.  The 1999-2000 school year will be full of fun and educational events for our children.

The PTO holds monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at the ECC.   They will alternate between 7:00 P.M. and 9:30 A.M. meeting times.  To be a member of the PTO you need only have a child at the ECC.  In order to vote on an issue, you need only to be present at the meetings.
